Humvee Push

The brothers of Phi Gamma Delta hosted it's first ever Humvee Push on April 21, 2016! The Humvee Push is an event in which five to nine members push a Humvee through a course. The Fraternity raised over $300 to go towards the United Services Organization (USO)! The USO is a nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to United States troops and their families. The Winners of each division are:

Men's Division: Alpha Tau Omega at UAB
Women's Division: Delta Gamma at UAB

Congratulations on these two groups for winning in their divisions! Everyone who participated did a great job! Thank you!

On October 4th, our colony debuted its first fundraiser for the fall of 2015. In Draft-a-Date, members and pledges of the fraternity were live auctioned off as potential dates or servicemen to a few lucky buyers. The event began with a riveting silent auction where members showcased their utility by offering services such as tutoring, car washing, and rock climbing lessons. Potential buyers went to a series of tables and bid on the service that caught their eye. Afterward, the live date draft commenced, commentated by our own Eli Ussery. Each brother or pledge had a chance to highlight his skills, hobbies, and interests before being purchased. Draft-A-Date raised over $1,600 for the fraternity with an estimated 120 audience members in attendance.
